Covid Generation

I met Zubaydah Abdi very early morning before she was due to go to work. A strong young woman which talks very openly about the struggle of her generation during the pandemic. An interview I suggest to read. "The years between 16 and 18 are a blur to me: I feel as if I’m a 16-year-old stuck within a 19-year-old’s body without the experiences or skills to fulfil their responsibilities...."

One Saturday in July. Six writers and 6 photographers. Lots of angry seagulls. The story of 24 hours in a British summer, from the sandy beaches of St Ives to a busy morning up Arthur’s Seat and the ebb and flow of Liverpool airport . I spent a day photographing the picturesque Leigh on Sea.
