The young Indie sensation Cameron Winter. I met Cameron in Shoreditch for a very quick photo session. Unfortunately, I missed the concert, but I heard incredible reviews. As the beautiful Portrait of Britain exhibition comes to an end I loved seeing my photos in many places around the UK. My favourite has to be this one at Heathrow

Mary's meals in Malawi and Zambia

Mary's meals in Malawi and Zambia

I traveled to Malawi and Zambia to document the worst drought Southern Africa has faced in the last 100 years. Thanks to the incredible work of @marysmeals, I witnessed firsthand the challenges millions of children and their families are enduring due to a climate emergency. These are incredibly beautiful countries with hardworking, proud, and kind people. It’s an experience I will carry with me forever. The Independent published a powerful and insightful feature/photostory. Please take a moment to read it.

Mike Leigh and Marianne Jean-Baptiste for G2

I met legendary director Mike Leigh and actor Marianne Jean-Baptiste in a hotel in Central London. Not many options for location and not much time either but I truly enjoyed the challenge and the interactions with them.

Bobo Vieri: 90s footballers legend

Bobo Vieri: 90s footballers legend

I had just two minutes to photograph the legendary 90s footballer Christian Vieri for a brilliant feature by Guardian journalist and football lover Michael Butler. Growing up in Italy, watching players like Bobo was part of the magic of football for me. Getting the best shot in such a short time is never easy, but I love the challenge and the adrenaline. After the photos, I stayed for the interview—a fascinating chat about Bobo’s life and career. Next on my list would be Francesco Totti!

Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2024

Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2024

I’m over the moon to share the news that one of my photographs is part of the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2024 exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. This is my second time in four years, and it couldn’t be a more significant milestone in my career. I couldn’t be more excited!! The Journey Behind the Lens These images were taken as part of a beautiful journey discovering the unknown world of cheerleading. In July 2021, cheerleading became an official Olympic sport. There are 119 national federations and over 10 million athletes across all seven continents practicing the sport. I have been very lucky to travel to Nigeria, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and Greece, documenting this colorful, joyous, community-based discipline. If you want to read more, here are the links to my website and to The Guardian Saturday Magazine, which published and commissioned the story.

Portrait of Britain Award 2025

Portrait of Britain Award 2025

Very pleased to share the news that 2 of my images are shortlisted for the #portraitofbritain award and they will be featured in the @bjp1854 POB Book vol. 7! The caption of the image: 1st Image: Allyson Williams MBE, shot for @migrationmuseumuk for a special project/exhibition that marks the 75 years of the NHS and celebrates the crucial role of its international workers. Today, around one in six people working in the NHS are non-British, and many others are the children and grandchildren of migrant healthcare workers. In the image is 2nd image: Zubaydah Abdi shot for @guardian to illustrate how the pandemic affected young people. I met Zubaydah Abdi very early in the morning before she was due to go to work. A strong young woman who talks very openly about her generation's struggle during the pandemic. “The years between 16 and 18 are a blur to me: I feel as if I’m a 16-year-old stuck within a 19-year-old’s body without the experiences or skills to fulfill their responsibilities....”

the latest edition of 'The 1890' - University of Greenwich Magazine

1890 is the online magazine for alumni and supporters, and it is named after the year the University of Greenwich was first established as Woolwich Polytechnic (the second polytechnic in the country). I have been collaborating with Mary and Sophie and the fantastic team at Greenwich for a few years and they truly are a bunch of fantastic individuals. Thank you all!
