An amazing journey in Mexico

With Kedrion Biopharma we travelled to Mexico documenting the life of haemophilia patients. As often in those professional and personal journeys, I was blown away by the kindness of the people who opened their doors to us and welcomed us into their lives. A fantastic journey which I will never forget. ¡Viva México!

Very proud to share the news I have been shortlisted for the Amnesty Media Awards in the photojournalism category with my photo story about Mental Health and Refugees I shot for the @guardianweekend and @doctorswithoutborders, in collaboration with the amazing journalist Lorenzo Tondo, Although it didn't win, I feel very privileged to have worked on such a strong story and to have met so many wonderful people along the way

Portraits of Britain 2019 - Shortlisted

This portrait has been shortlisted for this year Award and book. ‘I’ve lived in Hackney for 16 years, and I love photographing my area. These three girls were at the back of Broadway Market. They call themselves the “Backshop Bitches”. I spent a good hour talking to them, listening to music on their portable bluetooth speaker and taking some shots. I was fascinated by their look and attitude. To my eyes, they sum up London’s generation Z pretty well’

Refugees and Mental Health - The Guardian Weekend and MSF

Thanks to the Guardian Weekend and the phycologists and logistical help of MSF (doctors without borders) we travelled from Greece to Serbia, Belgium and Sweden meeting many asylum seekers who had found themselves struggling with mental health problems. I've been collaborating with Goldsmith University for a while. Always photographing and meeting incredibly talented and interesting people. I met Dean Atta in the morning and then photographed him as Black Flamingo in the evening. I am a big fan of the man! Diana Springall welcomed us into her home where she had very generously cooked lunch for us and talked about her incredible career.
