‘I’ve lived in Hackney for 16 years, and I love photographing my area. These three girls were at the back of Broadway Market. They call themselves the “Backshop Bitches”. I spent a good hour talking to them, listening to music on their portable bluetooth speaker and taking some shots. I was fascinated by their look and attitude.
